# About

> I’m Minh-Toan, a full-stack engineer in Valence, France. I love reliable systems and ideas that come together.

I started in mechatronics at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, then came to France on an Eiffel Excellence Scholarship for an engineering degree in embedded systems and computer science at Grenoble INP Esisar. From sensors and microcontrollers, I moved to servers, APIs and interfaces.

Since 2022 at Conduent, I build ticketing systems: servers that accept or decline a bank card at the validator, manage thousands of devices remotely and process millions of events a day, deployed across 20+ cities worldwide.

Alongside, I build Consonance. The name comes from the Latin consonare, “to sound together”: a resonance, when different voices vibrate in unison and strengthen each other. It is what I look for in every project — technology, ideas and people in tune, shining together.

## What I do

- **Servers & APIs** — Designing and building servers that hold the load, from back-end to databases.
- **Front-end** — Web interfaces and business tools, from prototype to production.
- **Full-stack** — A product end to end: data, API, interface, CI/CD and deployment.
- **Bank-card payment** — EMV validation servers for public transport: cards, fares, banking files, security.
- **AI research** — I study and build AI agent systems, and share what I learn.

## Experience

### Conduent Business Solutions France — Product Development Engineer · Akkodis consultant

January 2022 – present · Valence, France

Ticketing and payment for public transport: systems that never stop and process millions of activities a day.

#### EMV bank-card validation server (Open Payment)

- Accepts or declines multi-brand EMV cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB…
- Configurable fare engine: flat fare, origin/destination, profile, stop, line, free rides, events, check-in/check-out.
- Hot ingestion of banking files (BIN, keys, limits) and APIs for partners: Journey Detail & Control API.
- Docker CI/CD on Azure DevOps; already deployed in 15+ cities in France and abroad.

#### Helsinki validator management

- More than 5,000 validators and millions of events a day.
- .NET + Oracle PL/SQL back-end and Serenity C# interface, built since the start of the project.
- Remote configuration, near-real-time monitoring, remote control, audit log, server health checks.
- PKI bridge between the client’s infrastructure and the validators (CRL, renewal, revocation) with zero downtime; deny-list sync.

#### SNCF gate server

- Took over a server of 25 micro-apps and 4 GUIs.
- Gate configuration, multi-ticket accept/decline, validity control, MSI packaging via Azure DevOps.
