tracé.
Public transport traffic in France, network by network.
tracé. brings together public transport traffic information across France, network by network, from the operators’ official feeds. Every item shows its source and time, and the "À découvrir" guides suggest things to do in each city, prepared with the help of AI.
Open tracé.Strikes, works, incidents: the information exists, but it is scattered across dozens of operators, and a screen with no alert suggests everything is running fine. tracé. aims to give residents and visitors alike an honest overview, one that tells a confirmed normal service apart from a simple lack of data.
How it works
- 1
Operators’ structured feeds (GTFS-RT Service Alerts, SIRI-SX) come first, then official pages, then secondary sources, always flagged as such.
- 2
Deterministic rules give each network a state and each disruption a severity, always shown with a glyph, a label and a colour.
- 3
When a network publishes real-time schedules but no alerts, tracé. computes an "observed" disruption across two consecutive readings.
- 4
AI helps extract facts and spot inconsistencies; publishing is decided by the rules and by human review.
- 5
Once a source misses its expected freshness window, the network switches to "stale data" and no "confirmed normal" is shown.
What’s inside
No state assumed
Disrupted, slowed, confirmed normal, unavailable or stale: each state says exactly what the source allows.
Every item sourced
Publisher, link, publication date and last check are visible on every disruption.
"À découvrir" city guides
Ideas for outings in each city, prepared with the help of AI.
Email alerts
Optional, only for verified disruptions in the cities you pick, with one-click unsubscribe.
No account, no tracker
The cities and lines you follow stay in your browser, with no tracking cookies.
Public API and MCP
A read-only JSON API described in OpenAPI, an MCP server and a Markdown twin for every page.
The rules
- A lack of data is not normal traffic.
- An announcement is not a confirmed impact.
